Fushi Wellbeing oils are pressed from the seeds or kernels within 10 days of harvesting to preserve freshness, efficacy, and potency. It is a non-standardized, unrefined, and natural oil. Each batch is different and therefore has individual characteristics. Sediment or natural particles of the ingredients may be visible in the oil. This is simply because our oils are neither refined, deodorized, nor filtered. However, this does not mean the oil is inferior. Fushi Oil is a 100% natural, cold-pressed product made with over 85% organic ingredients and is free from paraffin, BHT, benzyl salicylate, artificial fragrances, silicones, and dyes. It is bottled in a glass bottle to protect the contents from heat, light, oxidation, and moisture. What are the differences between cold-pressed, unrefined, refined, and organic oils? It's no secret that natural oils are a boon for the skin, but not all oils are created equal. The terms "cold-pressed," "unrefined," "refined," and "organic" all refer to the production method and make all the difference. In cold-pressed oils, the oilseeds are pressed using pressure and friction without the application of heat. The more heat released during pressing, the more nutrients are lost from the oil. Cold-pressed oils therefore retain their aroma, flavor, color, and nutrients, which is beneficial if you plan to use the oil on your skin or hair. Oils produced using only minimal heat during pressing and not bleached or deodorized are called unrefined oils. Unrefined oils almost always taste like the fruit they were pressed from. Raw, pure, and extra virgin oils are all unrefined, which often gives them a beautiful color and fragrant flavor. Refined oils, on the other hand, are bleached and deodorized and are often tasteless. Therefore, it's easy to tell whether you have a refined or unrefined oil by checking its smell and taste. For example, if you have coconut oil that tastes or smells of nothing, it's not pure but refined. Then there are organic oils, which are made from plants grown by farmers in areas where no pesticides or chemicals are used. In short: If you want to be sure you're using a high-quality, nourishing oil for your skin and hair, always choose cold-pressed and unrefined oil. Why Fushi Wellbeing organic oil? Fushi Wellbeing products are made in small batches in their own manufactory and are 100% natural with a generous dose of Ayurvedic herbs. In their London manufactory, they hand-blend the purest, freshly pressed oils and freshly ground herbs. The biodynamic seeds, kernels, and nuts are gently sun- or air-dried, and the 100% pure organic oils are cold-pressed and unrefined. The freshly ground herbs are used in their unique triple-herb oil, which they create for their skin, hair, and body care products. The ingredients are from the current harvest, so all products are less than three months old. Fushi therefore avoids chemicals and artificial ingredients such as parabens, silicones, and sulfates, and is free of preservatives and other harmful additives. All products are packaged in glass containers and are vegan. Naturally, nothing is tested on animals, from the ingredients to the finished product. Fushi, which means "eternal life," was born from the shared cultural heritage of Rannesh and Ria and the Ayurvedic family recipes of their grandparents, who blended oils and herbs into pure, natural remedies. In their London workshop, they continue to draw inspiration from tradition and innovation, passionately developing pure, honest, and carefully crafted products. At Fushi, they combine the purest organic oils (Fushi Fresh Press®) and herbs (Fush Fresh Ground®), sourced from the world's most ethical producers, and blend them by hand in their London workshop to create award-winning health and beauty products. As they grow, they are building increasingly close relationships with their growers worldwide. They operate honestly and transparently, source their raw materials responsibly, and respect the environment.
