A daily facial toner with glycolic acid that smooths skin texture, evens out complexion, and improves radiance. The Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Facial Toner (formerly Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution) is an exfoliator that noticeably evens out skin texture and, with regular use, provides a more even and radiant complexion. It also reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. This water-based toner is suitable for daily use.

It contains 7% glycolic acid – a well-researched alpha hydroxy acid – and a botanical derivative from Tasmanian peppercorns, the color of which varies seasonally and may occasionally cause slight color variations in the formula.

This formula should not be used on sensitive, flaky, or damaged skin. Please refer to the enclosed instructions for additional sun protection and other precautions.

The pH of this formula is approximately 3.6. Glycolic acid has a pKa of 3.6. The pKa is the most important factor in formulations containing acids. It describes the acid strength of a molecule. When the pKa is close to the pH, there is an optimal balance between the salt and the acid. This maximizes the effectiveness of the acid and reduces irritation.
